We are very proud of the work of the CHSC Diversity Council in developing new core values to guide the work that we do at CHSC!
Every staff member at CHSC had the opportunity to provide input, either in a focus group or through a written questionnaire, in the fall of 2020 and winter of 2021.
The Diversity Council used the input to craft four core values and associated behaviors that will help define the identity of CHSC and the behaviors we aspire to. The core values were presented to and approved by the CHSC Board of Directors, announced at an all-agency staff meeting and added to employee badges.
The Core Values are based on the following Vision:
Vision
Our vision is to foster the excellence and accessibility of our services until every person with varying abilities lives with equality, dignity and independence. The following values are the foundation of Chapel Haven and will guide our actions.
Dynamic Diversity
We strive to continually create an inclusive community that is equally accessible to all.
Caring Collaboration
Together, we work hard compassionately.
Individual Integrity
We consistently do the right thing regardless of who is watching.
Community Connection
We build connections within the Chapel Haven campus and beyond.
You can view the core values and more details for each value on our website: CHSC Core Values
