Chapel Haven Family Association (CHFA)
On behalf of the entire Chapel Haven Community, it is our pleasure to invite all new CHSC families to join the official Chapel Haven Family Association (CHFA)!
CHFA was established by a group of parents who thoughtfully reflected on the unique power of “community” that exists among our adults, strengthening their individual journeys toward self-confidence and independence. By harnessing the power of “community” among parents, siblings and other family members and friends, CHFA seeks to promote family-to-family relationship building, education, connection to Chapel Haven leadership and staff, and the promotion of participation, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
As parents, guardians, or siblings of a Chapel Haven Community member, you are already a member of CHFA. There is no formal registration or payment of dues required.
CHFA has spearheaded many projects, including:
- Developing a Family Resource Guide
- Participating in the Annual Chapel Haven Golf Tournament
- Hosting regional family events for current and prospective families
- Supporting the annual Bowl-a-thon
- Volunteering at UARTS
- Assisting with the annual CHSC Family Weekend events
We invite you to learn more about immediate opportunities to become involved by contacting chfa@chapelhaven.org. At the same time, we invite all family members to make suggestions for future programming or to offer a unique skill or talent that you feel will contribute to a vibrant family association.
